Matthew is the founder and Managing Partner of the firm.

Matthew has been practising as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore since he was called to the bar on 28 April 1995. Starting off as a litigation lawyer, Matthew transitioned to the conveyancing field and has built up a sizable conveyancing practice over the last 16 years.

He acts for both local and off-shore banks in numerous conveyancing transactions.

Matthew Chiong Partnership was founded in 2005 and has now become one of the leading Conveyancing law firms in Singapore, handling thousands of conveyancing transactions annually.
In 2019, we expanded our practice to include a full suite of Dispute Resolution services. This includes Mediation, Private Arbitration and Commercial Litigation. Our experienced lawyers handle commercial and corporate litigation, arbitration and mediation; criminal defense litigation; matrimonial disputes; probate work; and real estate and construction litigation.
We also draft and review a full range of commercial agreements that companies require for their businesses from shareholders’ agreements to employment contracts.
